Last weekend we went to the Victoria Falls as it was a long weekend. The journey down was pretty horrendous because they are re-doing the road and huge sections have been closed off and we had to navigate our crappy Toyota down horrible gravel roads. But it was worth it. We've both been to the Victoria Falls before, but have never seen it this powerful. There was a lot of rain this year and the falls are incredibly full. Basically there is no point trying to stay dry, the close you get the more it's like being in a torrential, freezing cold rainstorm. As you can see, even with our big Macintoshes we got soaked.
